what it means to be an attorney
Being an attorney means leading regular people through some of the darkest moments of their lives and helping them find light again. I work to shield my clients from as much harm as I can and guide them toward a full recovery.
To me, they are not case numbers or quick settlements—they’re real people who matter. I do everything I can to make sure the insurance companies, defendants, and anyone else involved remember that, too.
I’ve built my life and my practice around a simple truth:
I don’t like bullies.
I grew up in a small town in central Mississippi, raised by blue-collar folks who taught me that a handshake means something, and that hard work is everything. I played softball through college, then made my way to law school in Jackson. I didn’t come from money or power—I came from people who worked long hours, lived paycheck to paycheck, and did what they had to do to take care of each other. That’s the foundation I bring into every case.
I started doing personal injury work in 2015 as a law student, and from day one, I knew I had found my place. Helping people who’ve been knocked down—especially by insurance companies and big corporations—felt like something I was built to do.
I grew up knowing that happiness isn’t something you can buy. It comes from knowing you’ve done right by someone. That’s what drives me. It’s about people being seen, being heard, and being taken seriously. It’s about helping someone through one of the hardest moments in their life and making sure they don’t go through it alone. Everyone is hurting in some way these days, and while I can’t fix everything, I can do my part to help the people who come through my door.
I represent injured people across Mississippi,
people who’ve been hurt because of someone else’s carelessness.
At Timbs Injury Law, I represent injured people across Mississippi—people who’ve been hurt because of someone else’s carelessness. Too often, I see insurance companies tell people, “This is the best we can do,” when the truth is, it’s just the best they think they can get away with. I’ve studied this field. I’ve trained for it. I’ve done it with other firms and in other ways. Now, I’m doing it my way.
I’ve built my life and my practice around a simple truth: I don’t like bullies. So, if you’ve been hurt and you’re tired of being ignored, pushed around, or left in the dark, I’m here to help. You deserve someone who listens, who fights, and who understands exactly where you’re coming from—because chances are, I’ve been there too.
